The beginning of poetry for me was to bleed out my worries, stress and triggers and release. Now I express the deep beauty around and within me.
How do you choose your themes?
I choose themes based on the stage of life I am in, often influenced by the season of my life, mind, personal growth, and the beauty of everyday life. This allows my work to remain authentic and relatable.
What is your writing process like?
My writing process is dependent on the poem. Some poems are written in a place of stillness, others are sorting through the dark parts of myself and my being to release. It is authentic, it is raw, it isn`t always pretty, but it is me.
